What It Does

The upper housing integrates the speed control mechanism and diverter into a single lid assembly, governing the flow direction and actuation rate of the top feed valve. When the original housing cracks, warps, or loses its diverter function, water distribution through the valve ports becomes uncontrolled. Replacing the complete lid assembly restores proper port sequencing and speed regulation without requiring full valve replacement.
