The Pentair Air Bleed Tube (25021-0003Z) is the OEM replacement air bleed tube for the Pentair (formerly Sta-Rite) System 3 Modular Media Filter. If your filter's air bleed assembly is cracked, missing, or no longer venting trapped air properly, this is the direct OEM replacement.
The air bleed tube channels trapped air from inside the filter tank to the manual air relief valve, allowing air to be purged from the system during startup and after backwashing. A damaged or missing tube prevents proper air venting, which can cause air locks, erratic pressure readings, and reduced filtration performance.
