About This Item
The Pentair CVA-24T Valve Actuator (263045) is the OEM replacement actuator for Pentair's CVA24 series, designed to automate 2-port and 3-port diverter valves under 24VAC control system direction.
The CVA-24T drives compatible 2-port and 3-port valves through a 180-degree rotation arc, enabling fully automated water flow diversion between pool, spa, and auxiliary circuits. Operating at 24 volts AC, this actuator integrates directly with Pentair IntelliTouch automation and all other 24VAC control systems. When the actuator fails, valves must be operated manually — bypassing the automation schedule entirely and requiring physical access to the equipment pad for every mode change. The CVA-24T restores full automated control.

Compatibility is based on Pentair parts documentation and available OEM records. This is not an exhaustive list. For certainty, verify the part number in your equipment's manual or on the original part itself before ordering.
Pro Tip
Before replacing the actuator, confirm the valve body itself rotates freely by hand — a seized valve stem will stall or damage a new actuator. Also verify that 24VAC is present at the actuator terminals from your control system before condemning the actuator; a failed relay or wiring fault at the panel is a common cause of actuator non-response. Electrical control components must be installed or replaced by a qualified electrician or certified pool technician.
