About This Item
The Pentair Nut (270141Z) is the OEM replacement nut for Pentair SuperMax and SuperFlo series pumps, including variable speed models.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: 2 NUTS REQUIRED PER PUMP
Two (2) of these nuts are required for a complete union installation on your pump. This listing is for one (1) nut. Order two to complete the job.
This nut secures the union connection at the pump's plumbing ports, maintaining a leak-free seal between the pump body and the suction and discharge plumbing. A cracked, stripped, or overtightened union nut is a common source of drip leaks at the pump connections — replacing it restores a proper pressure-tight fit without replacing the entire union assembly.

| ...and additional compatible models. Verify your model number with your equipment manual before ordering. | |||
Compatibility is based on Pentair parts documentation and available OEM records. This is not an exhaustive list. For certainty, verify the part number in your equipment's manual or on the original part itself before ordering.
Pro Tip
When replacing a union nut, inspect the union O-ring at the same time — a worn O-ring is often the actual source of the leak, and replacing the nut alone won't solve it if the O-ring has degraded. Note that for the SuperMax DOE (348191) and SuperFlo DOE (348190) pumps, this nut is also included as part of Union Kit 351157 — if both the nut and the union body need replacement, ordering the complete kit may be the more economical path.
