This listing includes a pair of 1-1/2 in. threaded adapters, not a single adapter. One kit is required per filter unit.
This adapter kit provides the threaded connections needed to plumb a TR Series sand filter directly into your system when no multiport or push-pull valve is installed. The adapters interface the filter tank's port openings to your existing 1-1/2 in. plumbing at both the inlet and outlet positions, allowing a secure, leak-resistant connection in valve-free configurations.

This kit is intended strictly for valve-free installations. If your TR100C or TR140C is plumbed through a multiport or push-pull valve, this adapter kit is not needed. Before ordering, check whether the top port of your tank connects directly to supply and return lines with no valve body in between — if a valve is present, reference your filter's parts diagram for the correct valve-side fittings instead.
