About This Item
The Pentair Plastic Washer (272505Z) is the OEM replacement washer for the HiFlow Six-Way 1-1/2 In. Top Mount Multiport Valve and the TA Tagelus Top Mount Multiport Valve series.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: 2 WASHERS REQUIRED PER VALVE
This listing is for one (1) washer. Two (2) are required per valve for a complete service. Order accordingly before beginning your repair.
This plastic washer provides a sealing interface within the HiFlow and TA Tagelus multiport valve assemblies. A worn or damaged washer can result in internal bypass, reduced backwash effectiveness, or valve handle misalignment. Replacing both washers together at service time ensures consistent seating and restores proper valve function. Match the part number stamped or molded on your existing washer before ordering.

Pro Tip
When servicing your multiport valve, inspect both washers together — they wear at the same rate. Replacing only one and leaving a worn washer in place can result in uneven seating and a repeat service call. While the valve is open, it is also a good time to inspect the rotor O-ring and spider gasket for cracking or compression set, as these components share the same service interval.
