The Pentair Valve Body with Diffuser – Clamp Style (272530Z) is the OEM replacement valve body for the Pentair HiFlow Six-Way 1-1/2" Top Mount Multiport Valve and select TA Tagelus filter-mounted backwash valves. This clamp-style body is a direct-fit structural replacement for the valve's primary housing and internal flow-directing diffuser assembly.
The valve body houses the rotor and directs water flow through the multiport valve's six operating positions — Filter, Backwash, Rinse, Recirculate, Waste, and Closed. When the body is cracked, warped, or the integrated diffuser is damaged, flow efficiency drops and the valve can no longer seal correctly between positions. Replacing the complete body-and-diffuser assembly restores proper port isolation and flow direction. Match the part number stamped or molded on your existing valve body before ordering — clamp-style and union-style bodies are not interchangeable.

Before ordering, confirm your existing valve uses the clamp-style body connection — not the union-style. The clamp-style body is secured by an external clamp ring at the valve-to-filter connection point; union-style bodies use threaded union nuts. These two configurations are not interchangeable, and the valve body style must match your existing plumbing configuration. If you are also servicing the valve rotor, spider gasket, or O-rings while the valve is disassembled, replace those components at the same time to avoid reopening the system for a follow-up repair.
