About This Item
The Pentair Sight Glass Gasket (272567Z) is the OEM replacement gasket for the sight glass assembly on the 2-inch 6-Position Top Mount Clamp-On Multiport Valve used with the TA Tagelus filter valve series.
The sight glass gasket seals the sight glass port on the multiport valve body, preventing water from bypassing the glass and maintaining a watertight seal at the inspection window. When this gasket deteriorates or becomes compressed, the sight glass will weep or leak at the clamp interface. Replacing it restores a proper seal without requiring replacement of the full valve assembly. Match the part number 272567Z to your existing gasket or confirm it against your valve's parts diagram before ordering.

Pro Tip
Before removing the sight glass clamp, note the orientation of the existing gasket — some gaskets are profile-specific and will not seal correctly if reinstalled reversed. Inspect the sight glass itself for cracks or crazing while the assembly is open; if the glass is compromised, replace it at the same time to avoid reopening the valve again shortly after service.
