The Pentair 273062Z is the OEM replacement O-ring for the Dynamo above-ground pump and the FullFloXF C-Series high-efficiency filter. Sized at 1/8" cross-section by 2-1/8" inner diameter (#2-227), this is a direct-fit seal for the backwash valve shaft on both equipment lines.

Two O-rings are required per FullFloXF C-Series filter for a complete valve shaft service. One O-ring is required per Dynamo pump. Confirm your equipment before selecting quantity.

Always lubricate this O-ring with a silicone-based lubricant before installation. We carry the Pentair R172351 Lifeguard® Silicone Lubricant — the OEM-matched product for Pentair equipment.
This O-ring seals the backwash valve shaft where it passes through the valve body. When this seal degrades, water bypasses the valve seat — resulting in backwash leakage, loss of filter pressure control, or water migrating past the shaft during normal filtration. Replacing this O-ring restores a proper watertight seal at the valve shaft.

Before installation, apply a thin, even coat of Pentair R172351 Lifeguard® Silicone Lubricant around the entire O-ring. This helps it seat evenly in the groove, prevents tearing during assembly, and extends service life. Never use petroleum-based lubricants — they will degrade rubber O-rings and accelerate seal failure.
