About This Item
The Pentair 275333Z is the OEM replacement valve body O-ring for the Tagelus sand filter and PacFab Multiport Valve series, measuring 3/16" x 6-1/2" ID. This part fits valve styles 11A and 11B.
IMPORTANT: LUBRICATION REQUIRED — SOLD SEPARATELY
Always lubricate this O-ring with a silicone-based lubricant before installation. We carry the Pentair R172351 Lifeguard Silicone Lubricant — the OEM-matched product for Pentair equipment.
This O-ring seals the multiport valve body on compatible Tagelus sand filters and PacFab multiport valves. When the O-ring degrades or is displaced, water can bypass the valve body seal, causing leaks at the valve housing joint. Replacing it restores a watertight seal. Match the part number on your existing O-ring or in your equipment manual before ordering.

Pro Tip
Before installation, apply a thin coat of Pentair R172351 Lifeguard Silicone Lubricant to the O-ring. This helps the ring seat evenly, prevents tearing during assembly, and extends service life. Never use petroleum-based lubricants — they will degrade the rubber and accelerate failure. While the valve is open for this service, inspect the rotor and spider gasket for wear; replacing worn components now avoids a second disassembly later.
