What It Does
The TEFC motor package provides the core rotating assembly for Pentair variable speed pump systems. The totally enclosed, fan-cooled enclosure protects internal windings from moisture and debris — critical in outdoor pool equipment environments. This package is intended for motor replacement where the existing drive unit is being retained; if your drive has also failed, verify whether a complete motor-and-drive assembly is required before ordering this motor-only package.
Poolaroo Pro Tip
Before ordering, confirm that your existing drive unit is functional and compatible with this motor package. Motor and drive components in variable speed systems must be matched — installing a replacement motor with a mismatched or failed drive will not restore pump operation. Verify the part number against your equipment's service manual or the label on your existing motor before adding to cart. Electrical motor components must be installed or replaced by a qualified electrician or certified pool technician.
