About This Item
The Pentair 354053Z is the OEM replacement valve top O-ring for the 1-1/2" HiFlow Six-Way Top Mount Multiport Valve and compatible TA Tagelus filter valves.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: LUBRICATION REQUIRED — SOLD SEPARATELY
Always lubricate this O-ring with a silicone-based lubricant before installation. We carry the Pentair R172351 Lifeguard® Silicone Lubricant — the OEM-matched product for Pentair equipment.
The valve top O-ring seals the joint between the valve top assembly and the valve body on Pentair HiFlow multiport valves. When this O-ring deteriorates or is displaced, water can bypass the seal at the valve top, resulting in leaks at the valve head and loss of system pressure. Replacing it restores a watertight seal and maintains correct flow routing through the valve's six positions. Match the part number on your existing O-ring before ordering.

Pro Tip
Before installation, apply a thin coat of Pentair R172351 Lifeguard® Silicone Lubricant to the O-ring. This helps seat it evenly, prevents tearing during assembly, and extends service life. Never use petroleum-based lubricants — they will degrade rubber O-rings. While the valve top is off, inspect the valve rotor and spider gasket for wear and replace them at the same service interval if needed.
