About This Item
The Pentair 354571Z is the OEM replacement O-ring for Pentair Quad D.E. Filters and the Dynamo Aboveground Pump.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: QUANTITY REQUIRED VARIES BY APPLICATION
1 O-ring is required per Quad D.E. Filter. The Dynamo Pump (canopy model with 25 ft. cord, CSA/cUL only) requires 2 of this O-ring. Confirm your application before ordering the correct quantity.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: VERSION QUALIFIER — DYNAMO PUMP
For the Dynamo Pump, this O-ring applies to the canopy model with 25 ft. cord only (CSA/cUL). It is not shown in the parts diagram. Verify your model configuration before ordering.
This O-ring seals connections on the Quad D.E. Filter and Dynamo Pump. A compromised O-ring at this connection allows air to enter the system or water to escape under pressure — resulting in loss of prime, reduced filtration performance, or visible leaking at the fitting. Replacing this O-ring at the first sign of cracking, flattening, or weeping restores a reliable seal.

Pro Tip
Apply a thin coat of silicone-based lubricant to the O-ring before installation. This helps seat it evenly into the groove, prevents tearing during assembly, and extends service life. Never use petroleum-based lubricants — they will degrade the O-ring material and cause premature failure. If servicing the Dynamo Pump, order two of this part before opening the unit — both O-rings should be replaced at the same time.
