About This Item
The Pentair 35505-1313 is the OEM replacement O-ring for Sta-Rite Bronze Slide Valves. This is a single O-ring (sold individually) sourced directly from the Pentair parts catalog.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: LUBRICATION REQUIRED — SOLD SEPARATELY
Always lubricate this O-ring with a silicone-based lubricant before installation. We carry the Pentair R172351 Lifeguard® Silicone Lubricant — the OEM-matched product for Pentair equipment.
This O-ring provides a sealing function within the Sta-Rite Bronze Slide Valve. A deteriorated or compressed O-ring can allow water to bypass the seal, reducing valve efficiency. Replacing this O-ring restores a positive seal and returns the valve to correct operating condition.

Pro Tip
Before installation, apply a thin coat of Pentair R172351 Lifeguard® Silicone Lubricant to the O-ring. This helps seat it evenly, prevents tearing during assembly, and extends service life. Never use petroleum-based lubricants — they will degrade rubber O-rings. When servicing the valve, inspect the full assembly for wear before reassembly to avoid a repeat service call.
