The Pentair 355074Z is the OEM replacement 1-1/2 HP impeller for the SuperFlo, SuperMax, and Challenger High Flow inground pump families — including single-speed, 2-speed, and variable-speed models manufactured before June 17, 2019.

Compatibility with SuperFlo VS/VST and SuperMax VS variable-speed pumps is limited to units manufactured before 06/17/19. Check the date code label on your pump before ordering. Units manufactured on or after this date require a different impeller.
The impeller is the rotating component inside the pump volute that converts motor shaft energy into hydraulic flow. A cracked, worn, or fouled impeller reduces flow rate and puts additional load on the motor. This part covers both single-speed and 2-speed variants of the 1-1/2 HP SuperMax platform, as well as the 1 HP Full Rated / 1-1/2 HP Uprated Challenger High Flow configuration.

Pro Tip
Before ordering, locate the part number molded or stamped on the back hub of your existing impeller and confirm it matches 355074Z. On variable-speed SuperFlo and SuperMax pumps, also check the manufacture date label on the motor nameplate — this impeller fits pumps built before 06/17/19 only. If the pump was built on or after that date, a different impeller is required. When the pump is open for impeller replacement, it is good practice to inspect the shaft seal and volute O-ring at the same time and replace them if they show any sign of wear.
