The Pentair Strainer Pot (355300Z) is the OEM replacement strainer pot for the Pentair Challenger High Flow pump series. This is the Black version — confirm the color of your existing strainer pot before ordering.
What It Does
The strainer pot houses the pump's debris basket, forming the sealed pre-filtration chamber that protects the impeller from leaves, hair, and other debris. A cracked, warped, or leaking strainer pot allows air into the pump housing, causing loss of prime and reduced flow. This direct-fit OEM replacement restores the sealed chamber to factory specification. Includes items 23 & 24 per the Challenger exploded parts diagram.
