The Pentair Seal Plate, Black (355612Z) is the OEM replacement seal plate housing for the SuperMax and SuperFlo VS/VST variable speed pump families. This is the black version — confirm the color of your existing seal plate before ordering.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: DATE-OF-MANUFACTURE RESTRICTION
This seal plate fits SuperFlo VS/VST and SuperMax VS variable speed pumps manufactured before June 17, 2019. Pumps manufactured on or after that date require a different seal plate. Check the date code label on your pump before ordering.

The seal plate is the structural interface between the pump's wet end and the motor assembly. It houses the mechanical shaft seal and aligns the motor shaft with the impeller cavity. A cracked, warped, or damaged seal plate compromises the shaft seal seat, allowing water to migrate toward the motor bearing — making timely replacement essential to protecting the motor.
