The Pentair 355618Z is the OEM replacement diffuser for 1-1/2 HP and 2 HP SuperFlo and SuperMax inground pool pumps, directing water flow from the impeller into the pump volute to maintain hydraulic efficiency.

The diffuser channels pressurized water exiting the impeller into the pump's discharge port, converting velocity into flow pressure. A cracked, worn, or incorrectly sized diffuser reduces hydraulic efficiency, causes flow loss, and can lead to cavitation damage to the impeller.
