The Pentair Seal Plate O-Ring (356148Z) is the OEM replacement seal plate O-ring for the 1.5 HP models in the IntelliFlo3 and IntelliPro3 VSF variable speed and flow pump series.

Always lubricate this O-ring with a silicone-based lubricant before installation. We carry the Pentair R172351 Lifeguard® Silicone Lubricant — the OEM-matched product for Pentair equipment.
The seal plate O-ring forms the watertight seal between the pump's seal plate and wet end housing. When this O-ring degrades, flattens, or cracks, it allows air to be drawn into the pump volute or permits water to weep at the seal plate joint — both of which compromise prime and pump performance. Replacing it at the first sign of leakage or during any wet end service keeps the pump operating at rated efficiency.
