The Pentair Impeller (356237Z) is the OEM replacement impeller for IntelliFlo VS, IntelliFlo VSF, IntelliFlo 2 VST, IntelliFlo VS+SVRS, and IntelliPro VS+SVRS variable speed pumps manufactured after October 2020.

IMPORTANT: MANUFACTURING DATE REQUIREMENT
This impeller is compatible with IntelliFlo and IntelliPro VS pumps manufactured after October 2020 only. Verify your pump's manufacture date on the label before ordering — earlier production units require a different impeller assembly.

The impeller is the rotating component at the heart of your pump's wet end. It draws water through the strainer housing and accelerates it into the pump volute, generating the flow your filtration and circulation system depends on. A worn, cracked, or damaged impeller causes reduced flow, increased energy draw, and audible cavitation. Replacing it with the correct OEM assembly restores designed hydraulic performance across all speed settings.

Pro Tip

Before removing the old impeller, note the orientation and thread direction — IntelliFlo wet-end impellers are reverse-threaded. Turn clockwise to loosen. When reassembling, hand-tighten firmly but do not over-torque, which can crack the diffuser or damage the seal plate. While the wet end is open, inspect the shaft seal and diffuser O-ring for wear and replace them at the same time — these components are under the same labor cost and will reach the end of their service life at similar intervals.
