The Pentair Clamp, Cam and Ramp (357150Z) is the OEM replacement plastic clamp for the WhisperFlo WF 7 pump and compatible WhisperFlo and IntelliPro VS+SVRS inground pump models. This is the black plastic version — confirm the color of your existing clamp before ordering.

Compatibility with the IntelliPro VS+SVRS applies to units manufactured after June 2016. If your IntelliPro VS+SVRS was manufactured before June 2016, verify the correct clamp part number in your equipment's installation manual before ordering.
The cam and ramp clamp secures the strainer cover to the pump body, maintaining a sealed wet end during operation. A cracked, broken, or missing clamp allows the strainer cover to unseat under pressure, resulting in loss of prime and potential pump damage. Replacing a failed clamp restores the mechanical seal between the strainer pot lid and pump housing. Match the part number molded or stamped on your existing clamp before ordering.

When you have the strainer pot open for a clamp replacement, inspect the strainer cover O-ring at the same time. A worn or flattened lid O-ring is a common source of air leaks that cause the pump to lose prime — replacing both components in a single service visit eliminates the most common causes of strainer pot failure.
