About This Item
OEM Seal Kit for the Pentair IntelliFlo3 and IntelliPro3 3.0 HP Variable Speed Pumps
The Pentair Seal Kit (357872) is the OEM replacement seal set for the IntelliFlo3 and IntelliPro3 Variable Speed and Flow pool pumps — 3.0 HP models only.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: KIT LISTING — MULTIPLE COMPONENTS INCLUDED
This listing is a complete seal kit, not an individual seal. All components required for a full seal service are included in one kit.
The shaft seal assembly is the primary barrier between the pump's wet end and its motor. When the seal wears or fails, water migrates along the shaft toward the motor bearings — leading to accelerated bearing wear and eventual motor failure. Replacing the seal kit at the first sign of leakage at the pump body protects the motor and restores a watertight drive assembly.

Pro Tip
This kit is rated for 3.0 HP configurations only — confirm your pump's horsepower rating on the motor nameplate before ordering. While the pump is open for seal service, inspect the impeller and diffuser for wear and replace them if clearances are out of specification. Addressing multiple wear components in a single service visit reduces downtime and the need to drain and re-prime the system a second time.
