The Pentair WhisperFlo XF VS Lid/Locking Ring Assembly (400006Z) is the OEM replacement lid and locking ring assembly for the WhisperFlo XF® and IntelliFlo XF® pump series.
The strainer lid and locking ring seal the pump's strainer basket housing, maintaining system pressure and allowing access for basket cleaning and inspection. A cracked, warped, or improperly seating lid can result in air entrainment, loss of prime, or water leakage at the pump head. Replacing the complete lid and locking ring assembly restores a proper pressure seal and ensures the strainer basket remains accessible for routine service.
