The Pentair Flame Sensor (462023Z) is the OEM replacement flame detection component for the ETi 400, ETi 250, and UltraTemp 220 ETi pool and spa heaters.

The flame sensor monitors the burner flame signal during heater operation. When the sensor degrades or fails, the heater's control board cannot confirm ignition, causing the unit to lock out or cycle off prematurely. Replacing a faulty flame sensor restores reliable ignition confirmation and normal heating operation. Match the part number on your existing sensor to 462023Z before ordering.
