The Pentair 8 in. StarGuard Cover w/ Short Ring (500103) is the OEM replacement suction outlet cover designed for use with the StarGuard short ring frame configuration.

IMPORTANT: RING TYPE — CONFIRM BEFORE ORDERING
This cover is sized specifically for the short ring frame. Confirm the ring/frame type of your existing suction cover before ordering, as StarGuard covers are not interchangeable across ring styles.

What It Does

This cover seats over the 8-inch suction outlet opening and mates with the short ring frame beneath it, maintaining the correct sump depth and outlet clearance for the StarGuard suction fitting it replaces. A cracked, faded, or missing cover should be replaced promptly to keep the suction outlet assembly properly seated and covered.
