The Pentair Equalizer Valve Assembly (506162Z) is the OEM replacement equalizer valve for the Bermuda series Gunite Skimmer and compatible Admiral S20 Skimmer models.
The equalizer valve assembly maintains balanced water flow into the skimmer when the pool water level drops near the skimmer opening. Without a functioning equalizer valve, the skimmer can draw air instead of water, potentially starving the pump and interrupting circulation. Replacing a worn or damaged assembly restores proper skimmer operation and protects the pump from running dry.
IMPORTANT: NSF CERTIFIED COMMERCIAL INSTALLATION
For Admiral S20 Skimmer models 84420505 and 84420605, this equalizer valve assembly is required for NSF certified commercial installation and must be purchased separately. Confirm your installation's compliance requirements before ordering.
