Always lubricate this O-ring with a silicone-based lubricant before installation. We carry the Pentair R172351 Lifeguard® Silicone Lubricant — the OEM-matched product for Pentair equipment.
This O-ring seats at the interface between the chemical container and its lid, maintaining a chemical-tight seal on Pentair automated dosing systems. A degraded or cracked container lid O-ring allows chemical vapors to escape and can compromise the integrity of the dosing circuit. Replacing this O-ring at each container service interval is standard preventive maintenance. Match the part number stamped or molded on your existing O-ring before ordering.
