Directional Return Inlet for Pentair Pool Fittings

The Pentair 540021Z is the OEM replacement 3/4" threaded directional eyeball inlet fitting with a 1-1/2" MIP (male iron pipe) threaded connection, finished in white.

What It Does

This directional eyeball inlet controls the angle and direction of returning filtered water into the pool. The rotating eyeball insert allows flow direction to be adjusted after installation, enabling optimised water circulation patterns at the return port.

Confirm the thread type on your existing wall fitting before ordering — 1-1/2" MIP is a male-threaded fitting that screws into a female-threaded (FIP) wall port. If your return port uses a slip (non-threaded) connection, this fitting will not be compatible.
