The Pentair Return Fitting Standard Body (542405) is the OEM replacement return inlet fitting for gunite and concrete pool installations, supplied in white with a 1-1/2 in. threaded inlet and 1-1/2 in. socket outlet.
This standard body return fitting delivers pool water back into the pool through the wall or floor of a concrete or gunite shell. The threaded-by-socket configuration accepts a standard 1-1/2 in. threaded pipe or fitting on the pressure side and a 1-1/2 in. slip socket connection on the pool-side plumbing, providing a secure, leak-resistant transition at the pool wall penetration. A failed or deteriorated return fitting can result in leaks at the wall fitting, reduced return flow, or water loss behind the shell — this OEM Pentair part restores the original fit and seal.
