The Pentair Water Leveler Float with Restrictor Seal (542486) is the OEM replacement float assembly for the Pentair Quik Water Leveler series, restoring automatic water level control to your pool or spa. This is a replacement for A&A Manufacturing, now a part of Pentair Pool.
What It Does
The float assembly regulates water flow into the pool by rising and falling with the water surface. When the water level drops, the float descends and opens the inlet valve; as the level is restored, the float rises and closes it. The integrated restrictor seal controls flow rate through the valve, preventing overfill and ensuring accurate level maintenance. Replacing a worn or waterlogged float assembly restores precise automatic leveling and eliminates the need for manual top-offs.
