About This Item
OEM Replacement Stand Pipe O-Ring for Pentair FNS Plus D.E. Filter
The Pentair Stand Pipe O-Ring (59000600Z) is the OEM replacement outlet pipe / stand pipe O-ring for the FNS Plus D.E. filter, sized as a #2-137 bulkhead O-ring for the 2-inch bulkhead connection.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: LUBRICATION REQUIRED — SOLD SEPARATELY
Always lubricate this O-ring with a silicone-based lubricant before installation. We carry the Pentair R172351 Lifeguard® Silicone Lubricant — the OEM-matched product for Pentair equipment.
This O-ring seals the stand pipe / outlet pipe bulkhead on the FNS Plus D.E. filter. A compromised seal at this connection allows water to bypass the filter media or leak at the bulkhead fitting, reducing filtration efficiency and potentially causing water loss. Replacing this O-ring restores a watertight seal at the 2-inch bulkhead. Match the part number on your existing O-ring before ordering.

Pro Tip
Before installation, apply a thin coat of Pentair R172351 Lifeguard® Silicone Lubricant to the O-ring. This helps seat it evenly in the groove, prevents tearing during assembly, and extends service life. Never use petroleum-based lubricants — they will degrade rubber O-rings and cause premature failure. If you're already opening the filter for a stand pipe O-ring replacement, inspect all other bulkhead and manifold O-rings at the same time and replace any that show cracking, flattening, or deformation.
