About This Item
The Pentair Sealing Ring with Gasket (630017Z) is the OEM white replacement seal for the Pentair QuickNiche™ vinyl liner niche, creating the watertight barrier between the niche body and the pool shell. This is the white color version — confirm your niche color before ordering.
IMPORTANT: LICENSED PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION REQUIRED
Pool lighting components operate in wet environments. Installation must comply with NEC Article 680 and be performed by a licensed electrician.
The sealing ring with integrated gasket forms the primary water barrier at the interface between the QuickNiche™ niche body and the pool wall. A failed or compressed seal allows water intrusion behind the niche — a condition that can compromise the surrounding pool structure and create an electrical hazard in proximity to the light fixture. Replace this component at the first sign of weeping, visible deformation, or when the niche is removed for any service access.

Poolaroo Pro Tip
This sealing ring is the white version (630017Z) — color-matched to white QuickNiche™ installations. If your niche is a different color, verify the correct color-matched part number before purchasing. When servicing the sealing ring, inspect the niche body and retaining ring for hairline cracks or deformation at the same time — these components share the same service interval and replacing them together avoids a repeat drain-down. All pool lighting components in wet environments must be serviced by a licensed electrician in compliance with NEC Article 680.
