About This Item
The Pentair C3-185P3 is the OEM replacement 6" acrylic trap cover for the Dyna-Glas, Dyna-Max, Max-E-Glas® II, Dura-Glas® II, and Dyna-Pro pump series.
This product has a smoke tint that is Biguanide resistant.
The trap cover seals the pump's strainer housing, allowing you to inspect and clear the strainer basket without disconnecting plumbing. A clear acrylic construction lets you check basket debris levels at a glance without removing the lid. Replace this cover when the acrylic becomes crazed, cracked, or when the seal no longer holds prime.

When replacing the trap cover, inspect the lid O-ring at the same time. A hardened or flattened O-ring is the most common cause of air leaks and loss of prime on these pump models — replacing both together while the pump is already open saves a repeat service visit. Match the part number stamped or molded on your existing cover to C3-185P3 before ordering.
