The Pentair C3-185PZ is the 6" strainer cover (trap cover) for the Dyna-Glas, Dyna-Max, Dyna-Wave, Max-E-Glas II, Dura-Glas II, Dyna-Pro, and Dyna-Pro E pump series. If your pump's strainer housing lid is cracked, warped, or no longer sealing correctly, this is the direct OEM replacement.
What It Does
The strainer cover seals the pump's strainer pot, maintaining the prime and water-tight integrity of the pump housing. A damaged or deteriorated cover allows air infiltration into the suction side of the pump, leading to loss of prime and reduced flow performance. Match the part number on your existing cover before ordering — confirm it reads C3-185PZ or the equivalent C3-185P designation for this 6" size.
