The Pentair Tank and Trap Body (C76-71P) is the OEM replacement pump housing body for the Pentair Dyna-Pro and Dyna-Pro E inground pump series, covering 1/2 through 2-1/2 HP models.

The tank and trap body forms the primary wet-end housing of the Dyna-Pro pump, enclosing the strainer basket and directing water flow through the pump's suction and discharge ports. When the housing is cracked, warped, or damaged by freeze events or impact, water loss and loss of prime result. Replacing the body restores the sealed wet-end environment the pump requires to maintain flow and pressure.
