About This Item
The Pentair Saddle Clamp (R172034Z) is the OEM replacement clamp securing the 3/8" tube fitting connection on Pentair Rainbow Automatic Feeder models 300, 302, 300-19, and 300-29.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: TWO CLAMPS REQUIRED PER FEEDER
Two saddle clamps are required per feeder unit for a complete service. This listing is for one clamp (sold individually). Order two to complete the job.
The saddle clamp holds the 3/8" tube fitting securely against the feeder body, maintaining a leak-free connection between the chemical feeder and its tubing. A loose or cracked clamp allows the tube fitting to unseat under line pressure, disrupting chemical delivery and potentially introducing air into the feed line. Replace any clamp that shows cracking, deformation, or loss of clamping tension. Match the part number on your existing clamp before ordering.

Pro Tip
When replacing a failed saddle clamp, inspect the 3/8" tube fitting and surrounding tubing for stress cracks or chemical degradation at the same time. Feeders that have experienced a loose clamp often show tubing wear at the contact point. Since two clamps are required per feeder, replace both together — mismatched clamp conditions can lead to uneven clamping force and a repeat failure on the remaining original clamp.
