The Pentair R172248 is the OEM replacement 1/2" inner check valve for the Model 320 In-Line Automatic Chemical Feeder. If your chlorinator's check valve is no longer seating properly or allowing backflow, this is the direct replacement part.

The inner check valve controls the one-directional flow of water through the chemical feeder, preventing pool water from backflowing into the chlorinator body when the pump shuts off.
