About This Item
The Pentair Saddle Gasket (R172263Z) is the OEM replacement gasket for the Pentair Commercial Size Feeder (300-29X) and the Pentair Corrosion Resistant Flow Indicator (R172627).
⚠️ IMPORTANT: QUANTITY REQUIRED PER SYSTEM
Two (2) saddle gaskets are required per Commercial Size Feeder (300-29X). One (1) saddle gasket is required per Corrosion Resistant Flow Indicator (R172627). Confirm the quantity you need before ordering.
The saddle gasket seals the mounting interface on the Pentair Corrosion Resistant Flow Indicator and the Commercial Size Feeder, preventing chemical leakage at the connection point. A degraded or compressed gasket at this location can result in chemical bypass or drips — replacing it at the first sign of weeping or during routine feeder service restores a proper seal.

Pro Tip
When servicing the Commercial Size Feeder, replace both saddle gaskets as a pair — even if only one shows visible wear. Chemical feeders operate in a corrosive environment, and an aged gasket on the opposite saddle is likely to fail shortly after. Inspect the mating saddle surfaces for pitting or chemical deposits before reinstalling, and clean them thoroughly to ensure a flat, even seating surface for the new gaskets.
