IMPORTANT: LUBRICATION REQUIRED — SOLD SEPARATELY
Always lubricate this O-ring with a silicone-based lubricant before installation. We carry the Pentair R172351 Lifeguard Silicone Lubricant — the OEM-matched product for Pentair equipment.
This O-ring seals the bottom connection point at the diverter tee inside the feeder body, preventing leaks at the joint where the feeder connects to the plumbing line. A worn or dried-out O-ring at this location is a common source of seepage around the base of the feeder.
