About This Item
The Pentair Saddle Clamp with Inlet Fitting (Threaded) (R172628) is the OEM replacement hardware component for the Pentair Corrosion Resistant Flow Indicator (R172627), providing the secure pipe-mounted connection point through which flow is sampled and directed into the indicator body. For new installations of 300-29X.
Includes flow indicator. Saddle clamp, fittings and 1/2 in. corrosion resistant check valve.
What It Does
The saddle clamp mounts directly onto the pipe and positions the threaded inlet fitting to draw a flow sample into the corrosion resistant flow indicator. A secure, properly seated saddle clamp is essential for accurate flow readings. A loose or damaged clamp allows bypass around the fitting, resulting in unreliable indicator performance. Match the part number on your existing clamp assembly before ordering.

Pro Tip
Before ordering, inspect the part number stamped or molded on your existing saddle clamp assembly. The R172628 is the threaded variant — if your current fitting is a slip or barb connection type, verify against your flow indicator's parts diagram to confirm this is the correct replacement.
