About This Item
The Pentair R173435 is the OEM replacement 75 sq. ft. filter cartridge for the Dynamic Filter Series II & III RTL and RCF cartridge filters.
The cartridge is the primary filtration element in your Dynamic Series filter, capturing suspended particles as water passes through the pleated media. When a cartridge becomes clogged or the media degrades, filtration efficiency drops and system pressure rises. Replacing the cartridge restores rated flow and water clarity. Match the part number on your existing cartridge before ordering to confirm you have the correct square footage for your filter housing.

Pro Tip
The fit notes confirm that all three cartridge positions in the Dynamic Series II & III housing accept the same 75 sq. ft. cartridge — so if you are doing a full service, replace all cartridges at the same time to ensure even flow distribution across the filter. Inspect the end caps and pleated media for tears or deformation before reinstalling the housing; a damaged cartridge will bypass filtration regardless of how new it is.
