The Pentair R18650 is the OEM replacement lid for the Model 186 Leaf Trap series, sized for 1-1/2" connections. If the lid on your 186-series leaf trap is cracked, warped, or no longer sealing correctly, this is the direct replacement.
The lid provides the primary pressure seal for the leaf trap canister, allowing the unit to hold system pressure while giving you hand-access to the debris basket inside. A compromised lid allows air to enter the line and can disrupt prime, reduce flow, or cause the trap to leak at the joint. Replacing the lid restores a secure, airtight closure without requiring replacement of the full trap assembly.
