About This Item
The Pentair Relay Kit (RLYSC) is the OEM replacement 20-amp relay kit for the LX220 and LX820 power centers, originally manufactured under the Compool Control System series.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: KIT LISTING
This listing is a kit — not a single relay. Confirm the complete kit is required for your service before ordering.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: LICENSED PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION REQUIRED
Electrical control components must be installed or replaced by a qualified electrician or certified pool technician.
The RLYSC relay kit provides the switching function that allows the LX220 and LX820 power centers to control the booster pump circuit within the Compool solar control system. A failed relay can result in the booster pump failing to start or run on command, preventing the solar heating circuit from operating correctly. Replacing the relay kit restores proper switching operation to the control system.

Pro Tip
The LX220 and LX820 are legacy Compool-series control systems. Before ordering, confirm your unit's model number on the label affixed to the power center housing — LX220 and LX820 share this relay kit, but other Compool models may use a different relay specification. If the original relay shows visible burn marks, discoloration, or a failed contact, replace the full kit rather than individual components to ensure reliable switching performance. All relay replacement work must be performed by a qualified electrician or certified pool technician with the system fully de-energized.
