About Smartpool

Founded in 1997 in New Jersey, Smartpool has spent nearly three decades helping pool owners get more from their backyard — more warmth, more light, more safety, and less work. The brand is best known for its SunHeater solar heating systems, which use free energy from the sun to extend your swim season, along with Nitelighter underwater lighting for above-ground pools, PoolEye pool alarms, and a line of robotic pool cleaners packed with patented energy-saving technology. Today Smartpool operates as SPQ Brands, continuing to make pool comfort and safety products from its Lakewood, New Jersey headquarters. Across the whole range, Smartpool products share a common thread for DIY homeowners: simple installation, eco-friendly operation, and practical technology that makes pool ownership easier and more fun.
