The Unicel C-7679 is a 7000 Series replacement filter cartridge engineered for the Pentair (Pac-Fab) Mytilus FMY 150 system — delivering 150 sq. ft. of filtration area through 148 precision-formed pleats of 4 oz. Reemay® 2040 spun-bonded polyester. At 33 3/8" long with a 7 7/8" outer diameter, this is a full-length, single-cartridge replacement built to Unicel's exacting OEM cross-reference standards.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: TWO-CARTRIDGE ALTERNATIVE AVAILABLE
The Pentair Mytilus FMY 150 housing can also be serviced using a two-piece cartridge stack: one Unicel C-7699 (22 1/8" | 100 sq. ft.) and one Unicel C-7678 (11 1/8" | 50 sq. ft.) seated together. Both cartridges are required — do not use either alone. The C-7678 is not currently available in our catalog; contact us for sourcing assistance.

Pro Tip: Before ordering, measure your existing cartridge's length and outer diameter to confirm fit — the Mytilus FMY 150 uses this single 33 3/8" cartridge, while other Mytilus models use a two-piece stack. If your housing currently holds two shorter cartridges, you need a C-7699 and a C-7678 instead.
