The Unicel FG-3016 is a single replacement DE filter grid engineered for Sta-Rite System 3 center-core DE filter systems. Measuring 16-1/2" wide x 18" long, this 25 sq. ft. center-core element delivers precision fit and long-lasting filtration performance — built with durable polyester filter fabric and a reinforced polypropylene frame to handle the demands of pressurized DE filtration.

This product is a single (1) replacement DE filter grid — it is NOT a complete set. The number of grids required depends on your specific filter model. The S7D75 requires 2 grids; the S8D110 requires 1 grid. Please verify the quantity needed for your filter before ordering.

Unlike traditional DE filters, the Sta-Rite System 3 uses only identical full-size center-core grids — no partial grid is needed for a complete filter service.

- Verify your grid count before ordering: The S7D75 requires 2 of these grids for a full service; the S8D110 requires only 1. Ordering the wrong quantity is one of the most common service errors with System 3 filters.
- Safety first: Always turn off the pump and release all pressure from the filter tank via the air relief valve before opening the tank to replace grids.
- Confirm by OEM part number: For Swimquip compatibility, verify your existing grid carries OEM part number 23900-0033 before purchasing — "Swimquip DE Filter" spans multiple designs and not all are compatible.
- Inspect the tank o-ring: While the filter is open for a grid replacement, inspect and lubricate the tank o-ring to maintain a proper pressure seal.
