The Unicel PG-1905 is a single partial DE filter grid engineered for 60 square foot DE filter systems. At 30 inches in length, this partial grid is the companion piece to full-size DE grids in a standard 7 full + 1 partial configuration used across Hayward, Pentair, Jandy, Astral, and Waterway Plastics filter systems. Precision-manufactured with high-grade DE filter fabric and reinforced construction, the PG-1905 is built to handle the demands of pressurized filtration — delivering reliable debris capture and long service life.

- Measure before you order: Confirm your existing partial grid length matches 30" (end to end, excluding the collar) to verify compatibility with your filter model.
- Inspect the collar: The PG-1905 uses an open-slot collar with 2 notches — verify this matches your manifold fitting before installing.
- Check your o-rings: While the filter tank is open for a re-grid service, inspect the tank o-ring and replace if worn or cracked.
- Safety first: Always turn off the pump and release all pressure from the filter tank via the air relief valve before opening the tank to replace grids.
- Count your grids: Most 60 sq. ft. DE filter systems require 7 full grids + 1 partial grid for a complete re-grid. Confirm the total configuration for your filter model before ordering.
