The Unicel 5000 Series 5CH-37 delivers 37.5 sq. ft. of filtration surface across 221 tightly packed pleats of 3 oz. Reemay 2033 polyester media — engineered as a direct-fit replacement for Aquaterra and Hot Springs spa filter systems. The compact 9" length and 5 5/16" outer diameter slot precisely into the filter housing, and the 1-1/2" MPT threaded bottom cap locks in without adapters.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: CAP DESIGN DIFFERS FROM ORIGINAL
The original Aquaterra Spa filter (OEM part 303279) features a closed top cap with a string handle. This Unicel 5CH-37 replacement uses a bar handle top cap. Fit and filtration performance are equivalent — the handle style is the only difference. Verify your housing accommodates a bar handle before ordering.
