Unicel's 7000 Series 7CH-50 delivers 50 square feet of filtration surface through 144 precision-pleated folds of 3 oz. Reemay 2033 polyester media — purpose-built for top-load spa filter housings used in Coleman Spas and Vita Spas. The integrated 1-1/2" male pipe thread (MPT) bottom cap threads directly into the filter canister's suction fitting for a secure, leak-free seal, while the semi-circular handle on top makes removal fast and tool-free. Sold as a single cartridge.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Vita Spas Installation — Remove Pad Adapter First
Per Unicel manufacturer guidelines, some Vita Spa models use an original "pad adapter" at the bottom of the filter canister. Before installing the 7CH-50, unscrew and remove this adapter — the Unicel MPT bottom cap threads directly into the suction fitting without it.
Pro Tip: Save the removed pad adapter in a safe place in case you ever need to reinstall an OEM filter. If you are unsure about this process, consult your spa owner's manual or a qualified spa technician.
