When your Hot Springs, Tiger River, or Caldera spa needs its primary filter replaced, the Unicel C-8465 delivers an upgraded solution — 65 sq. ft. of 3 oz. Reemay® 2033 spun-bonded polyester media packed into 234 precision pleats, a significant step up from the original OEM cartridge. Drop-in fit, no modifications required.
Hot Springs Spas, Tiger River, and Caldera Spas use a 5-filter system: one (1) large primary filter and four (4) smaller secondary filters. The C-8465 is the single large primary filter — you need only one (1) C-8465 per spa. The four smaller secondary filters are a separate part (Unicel C-4401).
The original OEM cartridge was rated at 45 sq. ft. (162 pleats). The Unicel C-8465 is an upgraded direct-fit replacement at 65 sq. ft. (234 pleats) — 44% more filtration area in the same physical dimensions.
